"Queen" for a Day
It may have taken a whole year but it was definitely worth the wait. We finally found a guy with enough guts to take us up on our dare to come "dressed for the party" and play pool with the girls!
Casey Merrell (who in real life is a top-rated APA player and boyfriend of one of our members) proved to be a real trooper as he hobbled around the tables in his 6-inch heels and short pink skirt.
"Cassie" found that playing with the ladies of the
TiGER Bay Area Amateur Tour was hard work (he only lasted 3 matches before being knocked out of the tournament), but it was certainly entertaining for us.
Now that the challenge has been met and we've had our fun, it's time to revise the rulebook. Yes, guys, in the future we'll be sticking to the "ladies only" format.
Even though he was a BAAT member for just one day, Casey Merrell will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks, Cassie!
